Dates of Internship: June – August 2026. 10 weeks required. Specific dates indicated in project descriptions below.

Stipend: $3,000 (Project 1 / Part time), $6,000 (Project 2 and 3 / Full time)

Available Internships: In 2026, Delaware has three projects available to apply for. Click on the titles for more details about each project.

1. Advancing mechanistic understanding of saltwater intrusion processes

2. Automated first-floor height estimation for flood vulnerability analysis using deep learning and Google Street View

3. Developing an Educational Economic Game about Adaptation to Flooding and Saltwater Intrusion in Coastal Communities

Hiring Timeline (dates subject to change):

  • Applications Close: March 8th
